Ludovico Caldara


Ludovico is an Oracle ACE Director and database specialist with 17 years of experience on the full Oracle stack (Clusterware, DataGuard, RAC, ASM, EM). He has administered literally thousands of databases in big datacenters so he has developed a natural leaning to automatization, monitoring and high availability. He is certified on Oracle 12c (OCP,OCE) and MySQL 5 (OCP). He is an active blogger, frequent speaker and a confirmed Community contributor: board member of the Swiss Oracle User Group, president of the RAC Special Interest Group and co-founder of the Italian Oracle User Group.
Ludovico is currently working as a senior consultant for Trivadis in Lausanne, Switzerland.

René Antúnez

International Chair

Currently René is an Oracle ACE ; Speaker at Oracle Open World, Oracle Developers Day, OTN Tour Latin America and APAC region and IOUG Collaborate ; Co-President of ORAMEX (Mexico Oracle User Group) and Web Events Chair for IOUG Cloud Computing Special Interest Group (SIG); At the moment he is a DBA Team Lead at Pythian.

In his free time he likes to say that he is a Movie Fanatic, Music Lover and bringing the best from México (Mexihtli) to the rest of the world and in the process photographing it 😉

Alfredo Abate

Librarian Chair

Alfredo Abate has been an Oracle DBA since 1999 starting with version 7.3.2 and as an Oracle Applications DBA (Oracle EBS 11i/R12) since 2006.  He started using Oracle RAC with version 10gR2.  Since February 2014 he has been the President of the Chicago Oracle Users Group (COUG).  He recently organized and helped mentor a RAC Attack 12c Workshop in Chicago and hopes to help organize more.  He is very passionate about helping people learn and understand Oracle technologies.  He currently works for a manufacturing company in the suburbs of Chicago where he is responsible for and enjoys working with a full suite of Oracle technologies.  In his spare time he loves collecting vinyl records, listening to music and spending time with his family.

Liron Amitzi

US Events Chair and IOUG Liaison

Liron is an Oracle ACE and a senior Oracle DBA, with over 18 years of experience. During these years Liron worked as a senior consultant with a large number of companies in various fields and managed an Oracle Professional Services Team. He is currently in Vancouver, BC, founding the Canadian branch of his Israeli Company, DBAces.
He mainly specializes in high availability solutions, performance, backup and recovery, and other infrastructure and application database areas. He is also a well-known senior instructor and lectures in Oracle courses, events and forums. Liron holds a BSc in Computer Science and is a BCOUG executive committee member.

Ajith Narayanan

Web Seminar Chair

Ajith Narayanan is an Oracle ACE Associate from Bangalore, India and has a total 11+ Years of work experience as Oracle [APPS] DBA with an expertise in Infrastructure Architecture, capacity planning & Performance tuning of mid to large E Business Suite environments.

He holds a post graduate with PGDBA (Finance) from SYMBIOSIS, Pune, M.S., (Software systems) from BITS Pilani, BE (Electronics & Communication) from Amrita Institute Of Technology and Diploma (Computer Technology) from Sree Narayana Guru Institute Of Technology.

Regular speaker in Oracle conferences and Oracle community events like AIOUG-SANGAM, NZOUG, AIOUG-TECHDAY, DOAG, OTNYathra, UKOUG, OTN APAC tour etc.

He served the board of  the RAC SIG as website chair (Sep-2011 to Sep-2013), successfully migrated the website from APEX version 3.0 to APEX version 4.1 and continuing his support as “Web Seminar Chair” from 2015 October.

Jacques Kostic

Website Chair

Jacques has been working with Oracle Database since 1990 starting from version 4 on SCO Unix. Within all company he has worked in, he has always been considered a key player in Oracle Database topics by playing various roles from solution design to complete implementation and deployment of Oracle Database products. He is always open to learn and discover new technologies.
In 2012, Jacques joined Trivadis AG as Senior Consultant, where he is currently a member of the Database Key Players Team, beta tester, trainer, mentor and consultant. In addition, he has recently been promoted to Principal Consultant.
Fond of knowledge sharing, his activities (forums, blogs, articles, presentations), in both the French and the international Oracle community, spans the last 12 years.

Osama Mustafa

Website Chair

Osama Mustafa (Oracle ACE Director) has progressive experience in Oracle Products, community. He recently served as Oracle Database Administrator, and certified Oracle Products Such as Database and fusion middleware.
Provide Database Implementation Solutions, High Availability Solution, and different approach for Fusion middleware Security parts such as OAM, OIM and OID for complete SSO application.
